This is an authentic, antique flush mount, basket chandelier found in the south of Spain, although it is an ornate, Italian style. It hangs directly on the ceiling. There is a loop on the top plate to hook onto a ceiling hook. The glass leaves around the top rim are most likely hand made in Murano, Italy. An exquisite beauty to add a touch of elegance to any room in the house, such as an entryway, the hallway, the bedroom or the kitchen.

These are the original crystals garlands and pins. The socket and cables are originals but are well kept and functioning.

As with any antique lighting, please have a professional inspect and install the lighting. The only flaw if very minor--- see the last photo. One of the glass leaves is chipped in such a way that the glass sheared off, making it thinner, but the leaf shape is still intact-- so from the floor looking up you can not even notice this little flaw--- only on very lose inspection. The glass and crystals will be removed and bubbled wrapped to protect them. Instructions on how to re-attach them will be provided.

Lamps and any electrical device are revised and working. If the original wiring has been preserved and it is in working condition, it has been respected to maintain the authenticity of the piece, although it is possible that the electrical installation of a vintage or antique product does not meet current safety requirements.
