A Large Antique Early 20th Century Flush Mounting Ceiling Light. This light has a quality hand cut crystal Glass lampshade in a traditional acorn shape. The shade has a cut pointed tip and a main decoration of cross cut decorations. The shade is offered with its original large chrome plated flush mounting gallery fitting. The chromed gallery is made from brass and has an ornate edge and a beaded border at the glass mounting point. The gallery has three predrilled fixing holes in its heavy frame.

This Antique light produces a bright and interesting lighting effect with the cut decorations producing vivid shadowing. This Antique light is fitted with a new earthed brass BC bayonet bulb holder and a length of modern earthed wiring.

This original Antique ceiling light is from the early 20th Century Shade Diameter is 15 Cm x Gallery diameter of 19 Cm x Overall Height is 21 Cm. Please see my photos for the best description. Condition is good for age, there are a few small age & use marks.

Small marks and imperfections to the glass from manufacture and use but the glass is free of damage. Small signs of use, manufacture and minor tarnish to the original chromed brass gallery. At the fitting rim the shade has a couple of small chips but these are hidden when fitted to the gallery.
